Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis gambaran critical thinking skills siswa SMA dalam penggunaan teknologi digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif untuk memperoleh pemahaman yang mendalam mengenai kemampuan siswa dalam memahami, menganalisis, mengevaluasi, serta mengambil keputusan terhadap informasi yang diperoleh melalui teknologi digital. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari siswa SMA yang terlibat dalam kegiatan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi digital. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi langsung terhadap aktivitas siswa dalam menggunakan teknologi digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa telah aktif memanfaatkan teknologi digital dalam proses pembelajaran, terutama dalam mencari dan mengakses informasi dari berbagai sumber. Namun demikian, kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam mengevaluasi dan menganalisis informasi masih belum merata, di mana sebagian siswa masih cenderung menerima informasi tanpa melakukan verifikasi yang mendalam. Selain itu, terdapat variasi kemampuan dalam pengambilan keputusan, yang menunjukkan bahwa tidak semua siswa mampu mengolah informasi secara analitis dan reflektif. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi digital belum secara otomatis meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, sehingga diperlukan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih terarah untuk mengintegrasikan teknologi digital dengan pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kritis.
